Emily Reynolds, FNP-BC, DCNP

Emily Reynolds graduated from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina with a bachelor of arts in psychology and German. She then spent four years working in the international public health field, during which time she lived in Afghanistan. Emily completed her master of science in nursing from the University of Massachusetts in 2010 and became a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She practiced family medicine for four years in the Boston area. She then completed a rigorous two-year nurse practitioner dermatology fellowship at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts and became a dermatology certified nurse practitioner (DCNP). Emily is a member of the Society for Dermatology Nurse Practitioners (SDNP),  Dermatology Nurses Association (DNA) and the American Academy for Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Emily is currently a co-chair for the Dermatology Specialty Group for the AANP.  She is a former editorial board member for the Journal of the Dermatology Nurses’ Association (JDNA) and continues to peer review articles for the journal. She also served on the planning committee for the annual Dermatology Nurses Association Conference of 2020.
